Stonemountain & Daughter Fabrics is rooted in over a century of family passion for textiles. Founded by Bob Steinberg, whose family began selling fabric in Los Angeles in 1919, our story stretches across generations, styles, and cities—from Hollywood’s golden age to Berkeley’s creative heart. In 1981, Bob partnered with his daughter Suzan to open the store you know and love today.
