Sew & Vac

Sew & Vac, Inc. was started by Bob Frisenda, a Poughkeepsie native. Bob served in the US Navy during the Vietnam conflict aboard the USS Intrepid. He was discharged in 1972, and three years later he used a $2,000 US Navy savings bond to start a sewing and vacuum cleaner sales and repair store in his hometown. Later, Sew & Vac became a family venture with his wife Sue and his son Kevin, participating in all phases of the business. Customer service remains at high priority to Bob and his family. Their staff consists of trained professionals who are up-to-date on all the latest innovations and brands they carry.
