3 Hens & A Chick Quilt Shop The original “3 Hens & A Chick” met in a class called “Chocolate Club” at a quilt shop called “Quilters Combo.” As they talked and shared their common ground – QUILTING – they became friends. Not long after that, they heard that the quilt shop was going to close. So, they talked about how neat it would be to open their very own quilt shop in the Athens area. Their dream came true when they opened “3 Hens & A Chick Quilt Shop” on March 1, 2014. (Original Chicks are L-R: Vicki Kellogg, Elizabeth Gordon, Anne Johnson, Andrea Karwoski) All the original ladies have retired and they are enjoying traveling and quilting at home.
